About Us
J&K Gardens LTD is a gardening maintenance services company operating in England. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to J&K Gardens LTD. References to "you" or "the client" refer to the person or organisation engaging our services.
Our Services
We provide a range of gardening and outdoor maintenance services, which may include but are not limited to:
• Lawn mowing, edging, and treatment
• Hedge and shrub trimming
• Weeding and planting
• Garden clearances
• Seasonal garden maintenance
• Other agreed gardening works
The specific services to be carried out will be agreed in writing or verbally prior to commencement of work.Quotes and Pricing
3.1 All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Quotes are based on the information provided by the client. If additional work is required beyond the original scope, we will notify you and agree on any additional charges before proceeding.
3.3 Our prices include labour and any agreed materials unless stated otherwise in the quote.
3.4 We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice for ongoing maintenance contracts.Booking and Scheduling
4.1 Bookings are confirmed upon your acceptance of our quote and, where applicable, receipt of a deposit.
4.2 We will endeavour to attend on the agreed date and time. However, scheduling may be affected by weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible of any changes.
4.3 We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.Cancellation and Rescheduling
5.1 If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
5.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted job value.
5.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to severe weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged to you.Payment Terms
6.1 Payment is due upon completion of the works unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 For larger or ongoing projects, we may require a deposit prior to commencement, as stated in the quote.
6.3 We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods.
6.4 Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may be subject to late payment charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6.5 We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.Access and Site Conditions
7.1 You must ensure that we have safe and unobstructed access to the areas in which work is to be carried out.
7.2 You are responsible for securing or removing any personal items, valuables, or hazards from the work area prior to our arrival.
7.3 We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to plants, structures, or property.
7.4 If site conditions are found to be unsafe or unsuitable, we reserve the right to suspend work until the issues are resolved.Liability
8.1 We carry public liability insurance. Evidence of insurance is available upon request.
8.2 We will take reasonable care when carrying out all works. However, we are not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage to plants, lawns, surfaces, or structures
• Damage caused by adverse weather conditions or unforeseen ground conditions
• Loss or damage not directly caused by our negligence
• Indirect or consequential losses
8.3 Our total liability to you in connection with any services shall not exceed the total value of the relevant invoice.
8.4 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.Waste Disposal
9.1 Unless otherwise agreed and included in your quote, garden waste removal is not included in our standard service.
9.2 Where waste removal is agreed, we will dispose of garden waste in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
9.3 Any additional waste found on site that was not anticipated in the original quote may be subject to additional charges.Complaints
10.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 7 days of the work being completed at info@jkgardens.co.uk.
10.2 We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
10.3 We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly.Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
